Four Expo Line stations serve the area: Gateway, Scott Road, Surrey Central and King George. For a scrap car that means the vehicle is more likely to be three levels underground than on a driveway, and the pickup is planned around ramp clearance and strata access rather than gravel and gates. West of the towers, Bridgeview and the Scott Road side are older single-family streets with lanes, and the Fraser River frames the whole area to the north and west.

The typical City Centre scrap car is an older compact commuter that has spent years in a parkade stall: light, high-mileage, and often sold once the owner moves to transit. Bridgeview, Bolivar Heights and the Scott Road strip (V3V) are lane-access houses, and the vehicles they send tend to be older pickups and vans; the table above only lists a postal area once it has five quotes in the window. Getting a car out of a City Centre parkade
Three questions decide the plan. What is the clearance height painted on the entry beam? Which level is the car on, and are the turns between it and the ramp tight? Who can let the driver in? A flatbed will not enter most residential parkades, so we send a wheel-lift truck, which is lower but still needs the car to reach the ramp. A car that will not roll on a lower level is the hard case: we bring dollies, and sometimes the practical answer is for the building's contractor to bring it to P1 first.
Strata access is not optional. The driver cannot get past a gate or a fob-locked stairwell alone, so arrange for you, a neighbour or the concierge to meet the truck at a fixed time, and check whether the strata has a rule about tow trucks on site (many require notice to the property manager). Surrey Central and King George stations are minutes away, so the easiest meeting point for many sellers is the tower's loading bay.
On the street, City Centre parking is tight and turnover-controlled; the City's rule is that a vehicle needs valid insurance to park on any city roadway, cannot stay in one spot more than 72 hours, and must not park within 1.5 metres of a driveway. Bridgeview and the Scott Road side
Away from the towers, Whalley's older streets around Bridgeview Community Centre and Bolivar Heights are single-family lots, many with lane access. A rear lane is often the better loading point than the front street, but Whalley lanes can be narrow with overhead wires; a photo of the approach is worth sending. The driver decides between the lane and the street when they arrive.
